What is Strata?
Strata is a private shared-memory platform. One person starts a World, friends add the photos, videos, and voice memos only they captured directly from their browser, and Strata weaves those perspectives into one living story you can revisit in 3D.
Do friends need the Strata app or an account to contribute?
No. When you share an invite link, friends can view the moment and upload their photos directly from Safari, Chrome, or any mobile browser. Zero account creation and zero app install are required for contributors.
Are Strata Worlds private?
Yes, completely private by default. Contribution and viewing use separate revocable links controlled exclusively by the World organizer. Only people you explicitly invite can access your World.
How do 3D spatial memories work?
Eligible hero moments preserve depth data, allowing anyone in the World to tilt their phone or drag on screen to look around the scene in 3D. Standard photos, videos, and voice notes continue to work smoothly in every World.
Can I still use Google Photos or Apple Photos alongside Strata?
Absolutely. Keep your camera roll and backup tools. Strata is not a replacement for your storage backup: it is the living collective story you create after the moment is over from everyone's combined memories.
